The Patterson Film Site
The Patterson-Gimlin film is still the best evidence for the reality of Bigfoot in the Pacific Northwest. Shot on October 20, 1967, by Roger Patterson (1933-1972), accompanied by Bob Gimlin (b. 1931), the film was taken along Bluff Creek in Del Norte County, California. This photo shows two bigfoot investigators, John Green (1927-2016) and Jim McClarin, looking at the remnants of tracks at the site on June 23, 1968. The photo is part of a set of postcards published by Daniel Perez in 2014. The site looks significantly different now than it did in 1967.
